Al Hikma School organized a field trip to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) headquarters in Muscat on Thursday, December 4, 2025. During the visit, which lasted from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, students explored an aviation exhibition highlighting various sectors and services within the industry.
The students were introduced to Oman’s first commercial helicopter airline, learning about its role in serving both the public and private sectors. The event was honored by the presence of His Excellency Eng. Naif bin Ali bin Hamad Al Abri, President of the CAA. Students received detailed briefings on the Oman Aviation Academy, including admission requirements, core scientific subjects, and the necessary academic percentages for high school graduates.
Captain Khalil Al Jabri, leader of the Oman Aviation Team, provided an engaging explanation of various types of paragliders and performed a series of aerial displays. The tour also covered private jet charter services, such as “Jetec,” where students learned about booking features and “door-to-plane” transport. Additionally, they explored the latest drone applications in cargo, passenger, and food delivery.
The visit concluded with a general aviation workshop conducted by Omran, the son of Captain Khalil. Following their active participation, students entered a raffle and won prizes including travel tickets, drones, and cash rewards.
